I decided that I'm going to grow a beard. Not just any beard, but a manly beard. The kind that makes girls turn to their boyfriends/husbands and say, "Honey, why don't you grow a beard like that?" Then the man turns to his girlfriend/wife and says "Baby, I just can't...I've tried and I'm just not manly enough." Whereupon he will face me and firmly shake my hand in an attempt to compensate for his lack of manly beard, but we all know his firm handshake will never make up for his beardlessness.
You see, if I grew a beard, I wouldn't even have to pull the whole "firm handshake" deal when I go to job interviews. Hell, I probably won't even have to shake the employer's hand at all. This is why I decided to grow a beard.
It's not just for looks, it's for function! ;)
